Yesterday, Santa brought us a gift. It was an elf on the shelf! The students named her Sparkles and she hides in our classroom everyday and the students have to find her when they get to school. Sparkles goes home to the North Pole every night to tell Santa how the students were behaving in school. The students are very excited about Sparkles!!

Geoboards

This past week during math stations, we explored the use of geoboards. My students absolutely loved using them to create 2-D shapes. They were so amazed at the different sizes of shapes they could make as well.
